Who we are

One fall over a decade ago, we moved to Shreveport, Louisiana with a newborn and I planted my first tomato plants. I absolutely fell in love with growing things. That tiny seed blossomed into something amazing and since then we’ve grown thousands of plants and added to our family.

The past three years helped us realize we wanted to be closer to family so we packed up and moved here in 2022 to be near my parents. In 2023 Leilani Blue Gardens was born and we spent our first year growing and selling flowers to Tumwater and Olympia.

Why the name Leilani Blue Gardens? My name is Leilani and it means “beautiful or heavenly flower” which is perfectly fitting for a flower farm. “Leilani Blue” is a variety of a cut flower called Ageratum.
